This page used only 2 pieces but that's 2 more from that huge package!

This one used a few more - 4 pieces on this one. BTW - have you noticed the trend to have branding strips you can use instead of just throwing away? The teal bottom strip on this page is from an Amy Tangerine paper (Stitched line).

I use those strips, too. Looked too good and way to handy to pitch. Love these and love the diamonds especially.

Yes, making the strips usable is really a great idea. I use them. I really like the diamonds, too.

Thanks Ladies!
Jill, I hope you feel better soon. :happy94:

The diamonds are cut from a full sheet. I think it's from Elle's Studio - same collection as the ephemera pack I'm trying to use up.
Moved my sewing machine cabinet/crafting desk out and found 3 bottles of mist, a pack of wood veneer words, bunches of paper scraps, and, of course, 2 more pieces from the ephemera pack. Sigh.

Going to go buy a piece of counter top to put on the sewing machine cabinet - it will fit end to end giving me about 20 inches more work space. (who am I kidding? 20 more inches of space to stack stuff is more like it!)

LOL!

Pam C - love the diamonds and agree about the marquee letters.

Thankfully those branding strips are one thing I don't feel guilty about throwing away; I already have too many scraps. If I can fit them into my current layout I use them, if not out they go. Unless they come off the old Sassafras Lass papers that had the scalloped and pinked edges; those ones I keep every last inch of.

Jill, feel better soon.

Love those diamond shapes, Pam. Clever.

By the way, I finished off Comfort Zone yesterday. A few remaining odd 8 1/2 x 11 sheets but all are interfiled into my color rack. They are still Naked ALSB style layouts but I plan to use several right away for Fall of '14 and South Dakota. Yay! Now on to my other resolution of five Christmas cards per month.

I didn't post before what I was going to use up, but like Farley I have a few card kits that I need to get finished up with - at least the papers and doo-dads. So I finished up the SSS kit that was coffee related today. One card isn't in the photo, but I got 13 cards, half of which I'll send to OWH and the others to a friend who wanted some coffee cards.

some stamps aren't from the set that came with the kit. The cute coffee cup die did though and all coffee related stamps.
