I still haven't uploaded my photos yet.
Between houseguests and work, I've been swamped. Plus, I'm still sorting through all my treasures and lovely gifts.

I can't thank all of you enough for welcoming me into your beautiful and creative lives!

So glad I was able to convert a few of you over to the magical, if sometimes frustrating, world of beads and jewelry-making!

Just an FYI... I went to Tuesday Morning today... picked up a few packs of cardstock and that's about it... not much new from that truckload... unless they just don't have it out yet... but there were 3 people working and no one was stocking shelves... so I'm guessing that was it.

There was a bit more new paper... just nothing that jumped out and screamed that I had to buy it... so I didn't. LOL

I printed a couple of the flip flop photos and Mike gave them to the neighbors today. They loved it and also said to tell you all thanks for the guestbook pages!

That's nice, Debi. April stamped the guest book page and Judy added my 'postcard' of all of us on the other page. Reminds me I need to print another one for my journal.

Who wanted me to send you the file for it? I can't remember

I admire your restraint, but I perfectly understand your frustration at the lack of shelf stocking at Tuesday Morning.

The closest one to me is about an hour away, so it's not such a big temptation. Plus, there is a JoAnn's and a Michaels just a few miles away. Makes for a good craft crawl.

My most recent online purchases include some Staedler markers and colored pencils. I think I will need to abstain from craft supply shopping for a little while and try and enjoy what I have!

I need to search some more and find my white gel pen that I like... I had 2 of them, but can't find the rascals.... I want to work on those stamped images on the dark paper like Eva was doing... just doesn't jump out at you unless there's white outlining it.

But then I started playing with my Perfect Pearls powders last week.... having fun with them, now... it didn't take much brain power to sit and fiddle around with them on scrap paper... now I need to put the images to use on some cards, I think. But I also did some images for one of the layouts that's in my pile that need to be put together. I didn't get that far down in the stack yesterday... but maybe tonight. It makes cool shimmery images.... and I did the mortar & pestle and medicine bottle stamped images from the CS Apothecary kit.... the images should work perfectly with photos of old bottles and mortar & pestles that were recovered from shipwrecks.

If I had a Michael's closer than 100 miles, I'd have to get a couple more jobs. LOL

Just checking... has anyone else uploaded photos from the beach week? I'd love to see them and maybe "borrow" some to get printed to include in my scrapbook.
