That's really nice, Pam. I love all the scraps tucked in behind the photos.

They all go together because they are all making collections that are turquoise, yellow and pink. oh, and mint!

I pulled out my scrap bag to cover the front of this envelope then added gesso on top, albeit with a heavier hand than intended. I love Dyan Reaveley's sentiment stamps but there's not a lot of places one can use them. The whole thing is enclosed in packing tape so should arrive through the mail intact. I always wonder if the people working at the post office ever appreciate the one-of-a-kind envelopes that cross their path.

May I make a small request of those issuing challenges? If there were a key word or two in the subject line, it would make it easier to find a specific thread again.

Looks cool Keitha. My post people always ohh and ah when I take envelopes to mail. One didn't want to cover anything up with the customs sticker.

What a fun way to use up scraps!
Good job Keitha - and great idea to cover it in packing tape to protect it.

The guy at my post office had no such qualms; he half-covered the stamp with the customs sticker :( At least the recipient can peel it off if she chooses, because it's over packing tape.

Just a few more days left to make a dent in that pile of scraps and enter this challenge!

I'm going to sneak this in here. I finished it last night but was too dark to take photos with the wimpy little camera Ray left me!
Except for 3 sheets of paper for the covers and a few pages, this is all scraps and ephemera including envelopes like Farley's with the dots, bags, etc. It's my journal for the Beach trip. I'll add a lot of beachy stamps and "stuff".

Marianne, this is VERY creative. Why the heck don't I ever do things like this? I always keep a journal of trips. It would be so much more fun to write it in a cool book.

I don't know, Jen, why don't you?!! It's why I bought a Bind-it-All so I can make useful things out of scraps and 'stuff'.
