I noticed in the house listing that linens are included but it doesn't mention towels. They also mentioned getting new dishes. I hope we can eliminate a lot of the disposable paper products that people brought this year. Some of us took cloth kitchen towels, sponges, wipes, etc. and there was more than enough and they lasted through the week. We don't need a ton of that stuff.
I brought cleaning supplies and as far as I know, no one used them. I think I wiped a bit of paint or ink off the door to the bathroom once so we don't need a lot of that stuff either.
And as for the snacks, everyone who brought them took a lot of them home with them. I hope they remember that next year when they are packing for the trip. My impression was that a lot of people there were trying to eat healthier and just didn't eat all that junk food like at some previous ReCreates.
The wine was a different story though.... :D

Yes - thanks Marianne - the owners do supply bed linens so TP, tissues, and napkins would probably be the only paper products we need. If you plan to do some mixed media and use paper towels, please remember to pack some. There's a Dollar General close by if you forget though.

Bring beach towels, hand towels, & wash cloths, kitchen towels and dish cloths, trash bags, and soaps. We could use the plastic table cloths again, too.

Did we have enough extension cords?

We sure are thinking about packing rather early, aren't we?

Are we completely full Pam? I have a friend I worked with who scraps that would be fun to travel with but don't want to say if we are full. I don't even know if she would be interested but I know her husband would encourage her as she never goes anywhere and he feels guilty because he is always going on big fishing and hunting trips in Canada. Let me know.

We are full. I was close to panicking but we have filled all the bed space - except for those two upper bunks!
If your friend doesn't mind climbing into an upper bunk...

I'm looking forward to spending some time in the house I called "home" for a few months. I'll be able to get some interior photos too. You'd think I'd have taken some while we're in it, but I guess I just wasn't thinking about it once we were in the house for the night. It's had lots of upgrades since then too. It'll be fun!!

Is there a link to the house? I'd like to see it.

Just looked back. The link Debbie posted was to the wrong house. Also in the wrong area.

Here's the right house. http://www.outerbeaches.com/OuterBanks/ ... oneyDunes/

Oceanfront. There's dunes between the house and the beach.
