Hemp and Glass Choker
Hemp and Glass Choker
I made this choker for my son Will. I found this beautiful glass piece on a vacation in Oregon a couple of years ago and I've noticed him admire it a couple of times, so I found some variegated black and white hemp and made a choker for him. It looks kind of sparkly in the photo, but it is very natural looking IRL.

WOW, very nice!
Did you have to put a hole into
the glass piece or was it there?

Rachelle--there's a reason I put you down as one of my favorite artists. You never cease to amaze me with your talents, no matter what the materials used. Awesome necklace!
Re: Hemp and Glass Choker
I agree with Holly - Rachelle you definitely do some great stuff!
Is this a Christmas gift then?
It's beautiful.

Wow! You guys humble me! Such wonderful things to say and on a day when I'm so bummed. I'm alternating between crying and swearing.
The glass piece was purchased from a street artist in Charleston, Oregon, a tiny little coastal town at the tip of Coos Bay. And it already had the hole in it. I actually bought it for myself, but I've noticed that my son really likes it, so I decided to try and make something masculine looking for him. It's really difficult to do that, I've found out. I like to embellish!!!!
