2016 Balance Due 3/1
Re: 2016 Balance Due 3/1
Nylon net - the coarse/stiff type in your choice of colors. And a largish crochet hook. I'll find out what size exactly.

Me, too, for scrubbies. I might have the crochet skills to make something like that.

Pam ask her if we need to cut it in strips and if so what size.

Is it the net by the yard not the stuff that comes 6" wide on a spool for wedding decor, etc??troublesmom wrote:Pam ask her if we need to cut it in strips and if so what size.

Marianne I am thinking net by the yard. I don't think that 6" stuff is stiff enough for them/

I agree. The tulle is too fine/soft. You want the coarser type that comes on a bolt (like fabric).

It's the stuff by the yard. It has to be coarse to scrub the gunk off of your pots and pans. Or dishes. She made me an extra large one for scrubbing my feet - I tend to not wear shoes unless I have to wear the dratted things.
It has to be stripped, but I can't remember how wide the strips are. I'll give her a call and try to get details.

Ok, thanks, I remember we used the stiffer yardage for the net balls my family made probably before the stuff on the spool was even available. I didn't realize one was stiffer than the other.

OK, I fell down on the job. I was watching Antiques Roadshow and went to sleep. I'll send her a quick email before I hit the hay in about 5 minutes, 4, 3, 2 .....
Re: 2016 Balance Due 3/1
I just talked with her - she's on her way back from Florida so didn't get my messages anyway.
Crochet hook: She uses either an H or an I, depending on what size she wants to make.
Net strips: Around 1 1/2"
Net: Get the regular net on the bolt, not the hard as nails stuff on the 60" bolt.

Thank you, will add that to the list for Joann's.
Re: 2016 Balance Due 3/1
Clarified - The regular net that you make tutus out of and not tulle. There is one that's stiffer than the "regular" which is what she called "hard as nails."

what do you set the paypal for to get the correct amount to you
Re: 2016 Balance Due 3/1
$100 and choose "family" or whatever is similar. There's no fees associated with that choice.jmp1022 wrote:what do you set the paypal for to get the correct amount to you
Thanks!
Pam P - Your card made me laugh! My coworkers had to come see what was making me laugh. They love it as much as I do.
Cheryl H - what a lovely card! That hydrangea stamp is so pretty and you chose the most perfect colors!
