Framing the edges in black sounds great but it doesn't need calming down. Your pages are terrific. I loved that kit and bought extra of it...of course. Used is for several LOs and cards.

that is a good kit for a wild sport.
I think adding the black border would work good, kind of ground it and tie in with the bold black artwork on the left.

Another one from the 5 of Spades. Different Deck. I used papers from my Michael Strong box. Haven't got a chance of identifying kits. But I thought the circles looked like bubbles in my beer. The challenge at Club Scrap was the NBUS challenge. Using the cocktail glass stamp I hadn't previously cut nor inked. The theme this month is Food & Drink. Thanks for looking.

Nice LO. You covered all bases with the stamp and the bubbles.

Another Five of Spades, from the most recent card deck. Dug deep into the stash. Friendship and Let me Count the Ways. Someday, I will use all my paper. HA HA HA HA HA HA

Edit: Gosh, that dark blue looks black on my screen. Well, you get the idea.

Last minute Jenni here with another layout for this challenge. Since I did this exact thing on my St. Francis statue last summer, I thought those photos would be the perfect choice for a faux patina challenge over at Club Scrap. I actually think I did a better job on St. Francis but here’s the result on my layout. I used black embossing paste through the Adobe stencil and then applied turquoise and copper paint over the dried embossing paste. It sorta works. I used the 5 of Spades sketch from the Idea Deck for the layout. Multi-tasking. Papers from Refresh the Soul and Common Threads kits. Hubby tells me I should have used birds rather than butterflies as the embellishment but I don’t have birds in many sizes like this embosslit. It is actually a bird seed holder, I think. Thanks for looking.

This month's card is the Jack of Hearts. I have already described this in the LOAD thread. Thanks for looking.

I obviously forgot about this thread because every month I enter this challenge at Club Scrap. This month we are using the 7 of Hearts. I am really loving the fact that I'm using these cards. Generally, I like the result. There are a few odd ones but all in all, the decks were a good purchase.

P.S. Finished now with my monopolizing of this board today. You can tell I have no one to celebrate Easter with so I'm doing what I enjoy most. Scrapping. Hubby is watching the Dodgers and it's raining.

Another 7 of Hearts layout. With this layout, I have Killed the Kit: Tilescapes. I love it dearly but now it's being used instead of hiding in a pizza box.
