Janet I'm thinking that the rest of us will have enough "stuff" that you won't have to worry. I know I have most of my inks (Stampin'Up!) packed. Will probably throw in a few CS ones also. Paper, I have enough paper packed to .............. oh well, lets just say I have plenty packed.

I'll literally be up in the air until about Thursday as to if I can come or not so packing will be an insane, last minute throw a bunch of stuff in the truck kind of a deal. I have no clue what I am bringing (other than the Kuerig) and myself and some booze and a towel. No clue what I will work on, etc. That's just sort of how I roll.

I'll bring the viewmaster die with me, Pam.... I'm going to find a use for it in this Arizona scrapbook... just because I found it... LOL

I'm going to go ahead and bring all the big Sizzix dies, while I'm at it... might as well while Mike is carrying things for me... hee hee

I've got to start pre-planning some of these pages, though... I've got paper stacked on a table, but I can't bring ALL of it up there... have to make it make more sense... So the pre-planning starts tonight!

I still need to pick out some inks, too... that shouldn't be too difficult though since everything is in a similar color grouping, I think... plus I do have the luxury of being close to home :-)

Just a quick question, how many flights do we have to carry all this stuff up?

We'll be scrapping on the top floor... so that's two flights up.... well.... if you look at this photo... at the bottom left is the door to the 1st floor... then there's steps up to the main entry door... that's the 2nd floor.... there are interior steps up to the 3rd floor (there's no longer an outside entrance to that floor)

Oh so no elevator. the one we stayed in at Isle of Palms had an elevator and that really helped, even though it didn't work half the time. Guess we'll all get our exercise!

Good to know so I won't pack anything real heavy.

I'm wondering if anyone went fishing last year. If so were there rods there or did you bring your own.

No fishing rods at the house. There's a place in Rodanthe that may rent rods... I'm not sure... it's been so long since I went fishing... LOL

here's the info for Hatteras Jack ... http://www.hatterasjack.com/index.htm

No elevator. More bedrooms was the trade off.

All of us noticed we were doing the stairs more easily as the week went on. My recommendation, start doing flights of stairs now! Get in some practice.

Oh, I'm good. Since the elevator had so many problems, I found the steps were actually faster.

I do think I remember reading that it has wifi. Is that correct?

Are there bikes at the house? I loved those pretty bikes at our house last year.

I don't see bikes listed as something they provide... but the owner is always interested in making improvements, so I'll have Mike mention it the next time he talks with him. Not something that'll happen by this weekend... but maybe in the future. Of course... helmets should have also been available, but that's tough to plan for, too.

Whew! I just went back and read every post about beach week that I could find, combing them for things I needed to remember to bring. I did add a couple to my list, so it was worth it.

Read with interest about the little Sandbar Dreams art store which I'd missed before, and see they've posted their May schedule. Although I'd expect if a few of us are interested they might add a private class for us. Don't think I'm interested in doing a canvas, but painting a wineglass might be fun!
