I know I have been AOL for a while but I'm helping a neighbor who is getting married and am waist deep in genealogy.

The prayers are for a neighbor that I just found out has stage 3 Colon Cancer. I'm not sure how old he is but I'm thinking mid 50's.

I also want to ask for prayers for our dear granddaughter Sara. She had a tick embedded in her back a little over a week ago and mom took her to Dr right away. She has been feeling really bad. The dr started her on antibiotics immediately. They are also running tests for lymes & rocky mountain spotted fever. Bad thing is she now has a terrible rash as she was alergic to the antibiotic. So lots of prayers would for sure be appreciated.

I also am still not getting updates.

I just got a tick off Mike's leg over the weekend.... it had just started to embed its little proboscis... but I got it out before the real biting took place... and now I just have to keep an eye on Mike and the leg for a while... it was a tick with a white dot on its back... so could be carrying Rocky Mt. Spotted Fever... just what we'd need....

The fleas are horrible this summer.... and so now I'm guessing the ticks are, too....

And... sending prayers to your neighbor.... sorry to hear that news about anyone

Thanks all! She seems to be improving but I still have not heard any test results from them. I am in hopes nothing showed up.
