Yeah, that was one nasty die that I gave away fast!
nancine wrote:I am so glad you got that die to work for you Rachelle! Indeed it was/is the die from hell! You really shouldn't have to work so hard!

I need to pick up some more unscented dryer sheets.

Wonderful, Rachelle. I don't have the doily from hell (who makes it?) but I do have a lacy border about 4 x 6" that takes a lot of poking and a few others. I didn't even think of dryer sheets today at the supermarket and I even went down that aisle because Robin wants me to bring her Barkeeper's Friend!

It's a Sizzix Thinlits die.

My dryer sheets did not work at all. The ones I bought yesterday seem to be made of softer fabric, and are juicier than the Arm and Hammer brand that she was using in the video. So I guess it's back to the pokey tool!
These just made the cardstock damp and heavily scented. It reminded me of my Auntie Win's two expressions, either "ooh what a pretty pong" or "smells like a tart's boudoir".
Kathryn.

You know I use the combination of dryer sheets and the non stick foil. That works much better than just the dryer sheets.

So glad I wasn't taking sip of coffee when I read that! You definitely need to use the unscented ones and probably the cheaper the better, even if you have to use an extra one because they're usually thinner.

Maybe we need to send a care package to Kathryn.

I hope I never forget those expressions. You never know when the appropriate occasion will arise...

so... I'm going to pick up some cheaper dryer sheets... maybe.... I use the fragrance free Bounce ones.... and I'm still using that initial folded 4 sheets ... and I did lots of die-cutting... so I may decide to stick with this brand and just buy extras for the laundry ... why mess with success.. right?

I'll look out for Bounce in the supermarket.

I wouldn't have even bought this die (even on sale) before testing the dryer sheet process and knowing how well it works! So.... I got this brick pattern die and just wanted to add a little texture to this layout. Not sure I'm thrilled with my paper choice (and sorry about the shadow on the layout) but... wanted to give it a try and see if it even worked. It popped out of that die like a charm!!

that's a cool die, but it's even cooler how you used it on that layout!
