Kit swap layouts

I'm slowly scrapbooking again. Pulled out photos to use with the kit Pam P. did me when we swapped a few months back, and got the last page of that done tonight. It was definitely outside my comfort zone, which she intended, and I'm still not a clustering queen like some others we could mention, but the pages are done and I'm happy with them. I think I may have posted a couple before, but for the life of me I can't figure out where, so here they all are as proof to Pam that I did in fact use the kit she sent me!

I'm proud of you, girl! You're a braver soul than I am - I used the other side of the gold foil arrows paper.

The river looks familiar - is that where your husband and his friend were sailing?

Great layouts, Monica. Isn't that gold arrows paper perfect for a peacock's tail!

Farther down on the Oregon side, yes. Same river. ;)

It's good to see people getting back to scrapping again! Is that lookout over the Gorge at Maryhill Museum, Monica? We didn't know about all that when we drove through there. We stayed on the WA side on a small two lane road instead of the freeway on the Oregon side.

Yes, it is. The grounds around the museum are quite nice, actually. a few miles away from this is the Stonehenge monument created to honor soldiers from.... I can't remember which war. But it's a full size replica, all standing upright instead of falling down like the original.

Nice job Monica! I love the photos, and I think those shiny arrows pointing at the peacock is fantastic.

Nice pages Monica. I would never have thought of the arrows with the peacock, but they are perfect.

It's funny about that arrow paper.... I really don't care for the gold foil accents that have cropped up everywhere, as Pam knows... but for some reason when I was trying to find a paper for those photos it just fit.
