Later in the day than I hoped but it's done.
I've had this map paper in my stash for so long! The pictures aren't this warm in real life but it's the best I can do this late at night.
Joel was very happy to be on the plane but you'd never know it from this shot!

Good start for LOAD October. I'm trying something different this month. I've been feeling in the mood to do some seasonal crafting, be it pages or home decor or whatever, which I should be able to embrace as I finish work in a week and plan to take the rest of the year off. As part of all that I'm going to try an October album: it'll be a mash-up of an 'October Daily' type album a la Ali Edwards, some 'Journal Your Autumn' type stuff a la Shimelle, and with a nod to Stacy Julien who IMO was the very first to suggest a daily recording of events via a project in her first book Big Picture - but not necessarily a daily-documented type of thing. I've already picked up some new seasonal product and hope to also use up some stuff in my stash, all within the framework of a 6x8 album using a mix of full and pocket-style pages. I've never put the spotlight on an autumn month but with October encompassing Thanksgiving as well as Hallowe'en, not to mention the glorious show Mother Nature puts on here I figured I've got lots to work with.

Sounds wonderful Keitha!

Yes, Pam, the start of 2016. Let me just warn everyone, never announce you're finished with a trip until you clean your desk. I found 14 more pictures from 2015. No, I haven't checked my camera for any I haven't printed - nor have I checked Joel's pictures.

Here's my layout for today. Shimelle influence and Shimelle products. No one can pretend to be surprised.

Great pages Pam! I think I have that map paper too. I just came across something very similar, if not exact, a few weeks ago.

You go girl! I bought a few sheets of Shimelle's new collection as well; in particular I liked the maple leaves. Very Canadian, LOL.

The strangest thing happene,d when I went to New Moon Scrapbooking to order the Go, Now Go papers......I signed in and selected the papers I wanted and when I went to my cart to pay my address was already filled in with somebody from Quebec that I don't even know. Strange! I'm going to have to call them. I really like all the elements to that kit.
