This is our friend Austin. He used to be my vacation fill in at work and was also our house sitter for several years......and one of Benji's best friends. Then he took a transfer to the Olympia, WA plant to be closer to his brother and family. A month after he got there his brother got a promotion with his company and moved 5 hours away!. I told him he should stay put!!
He lives in Tumwater and we spent the day with him exploring the area. He's a great kid.

Awesome! Did you take that photo? It's so great it could be a postcard! I love that it's the only photo on the page - even with all of the great layering, that photo is still the star, which I love.

These gardens were so breath taking I didn't want to leave. The day we were there it was scorching hot and we didn't even care, we wanted to take it all in. Just so beautiful. I want to set up a tent and live there.

True story - those cards are from Whole Foods. I picked them up years ago (8-10 maybe) thinking I could do "something" with them. They're perfect on your layout!

Here is the last page of the Outer Banks trip. Yay!! It's in the record books. I borrowed the photo Pam C took. I love that photo.....I'm wishing I was there and it was May!! I'm sad I won't be able to be there next year. My granddaughter is graduating college and I can't miss that.
