Gee you shouldn't be having trouble with so many of your thin dies like that. Have you tried using one of those thin metal shims? I used one a lot with my smaller Big Shot and it helped immensely.

Julie, what you need is a metal plate for a shim or even better the Precision Plate. It works wonders, in fact a friend is borrowing mine today at Renegades to cut out some intricate word die she bought for Christmas cards.

Also remember the thread about using the dryer sheets to help cut intricate dies. Julie may not have seen that while she AWOL. Or maybe that is not what you are talking about here...

Thanks for the links! Off to check those out now. I haven't spent much time with my dies over the past few years, but always when I get on a roll with them, I remember how much fun it can be. And if I can get something that will help my thin dies work better, I will have doubled my die collection! LOL. I started with one of those little roller machines that were JUST for the thin dies. And I guess that actually worked OK, but not with thick cardstock. Then when I got the big shot machine and the cutting platforms, that's when I just gave up. I tried shimming it with paper, and it would be too thick, but without some kind of shim, it didn't cut through.

So hopefully one of the tricks or products you all pointed me at will help!
