Pam, so sorry I missed your lovely cards. I didn't scroll up far enough. And now, Rachelle, I love your interpretation of the door.

I am interpreting the holidays as starting with Thanksgiving. No more end of year card insanity for me this year. I don't have any stamps/dies for wreaths so I curved a stamp from Club Scrap's Garden Shed and made my own darn wreath. And then I actually fussy cut it, if you can believe that. Yes. It's true. Other dies are from Technique Tuesday. Another NY Crafty resolution is to complete ALL of my cards to a ready-to-mail state. So I stamped the interior sentiment, the back AND an envelope. OH MY. How long can I keep this up? Thanks for looking.

Love it! And your idea to cut your own darn wreath. I've been scouring my stamps for ideas, may have to CASE this one.

Very nice, Jen, and I am going to try and follow your good example of finishing the card and an envelope-when I get to the card challenges!

Rachelle, I love your spin on this sketch. I remember many homes on my childhood street doing that very thing. Your card is delightful.

Jen, very pretty card and the embossing was a great idea.

Wanted to try a couple more versions of this card. It's such a versatile design and can really accommodate lots of different papers. Wish I had a wreath diecut though. Fussy cutting stamps is tiring.

Well the fussy cutting is tedious for sure but well worth the effort! Your cards are wonderful and I love your choice in door nobs. Very clever and I'm probably going to copy you.

I've got 3 doors made. Just need to get the rest of it together and try a different wreath choice. KNK will be busy tonight now that I cleared off my computer desk today.

Okay, I worked on more Thanksgiving cards over the weekend. Taking the wreath idea but tossing the door. It's my own darn interpretation, right? So in the interest of killing these darn Paper Pumpkin kits, I used up the supplies for this one. The busier "wreath" stamp came with the kit. The other stamps are from my monthly Technique Tuesday Memory Keepers shipment. It may not follow your instructions to the letter, Farley, but at least it got another bunch of Thanksgiving cards completed. Thanks for the challenge.

You ladies are all rocking this challenge. The wreaths, the fussy-cutting, the different interpretations. And completing the card down to the envelope? Wow.

Love the wrapped door!! We used to do that too. There were even special door wrap papers that were a little wider than wrapping paper so they'd fit a door.
