I found some packs of 4x6 photo paper at an estate sale. Have you ever used it for anything other than printing photos? I realize I can experiment but I'm lazy and prefer to learn from the experience of others. 8-) It seems that StazOn inks should work, right? I don't think I have any alcohol inks. If nothing else I figure I can use them for photo mattes, right?

Alcohol ink doesn't work on them. The emulsion on the photo paper breaks down and makes a horrid mess. Staz On might work. I think you can use colored ink, like Tim's pens, with it. Seems like I saw him color some black and white photos with it.

All photo paper is not the same. You'll have to experiment and see how yours reacts.

Alcohol inks:
I've had some success with the shiny side but great success if you turn it over and use the back

Nina Ribena has several videos on you tube using alcohol on the back side,of the photo paper.
I've tried this technique using her instructions and it works. Before this video their are several others on her channel. It was about 5 months ago but this link should work.

Just copy the link and put in your browser. It should take you to the video.

Die cuts:
I've cut out die cuts with photo paper. You can paint with acrylics if you want.

Stencils:

It will depend on the brand, Pam. Cheaper paper is more forgiving. Just play with it with any ink and pens you have. I think I stamped with Staz On or archival inks when I did it.
