I agree with Marianne, very elegant Debi. For hard-to-stick items my go-to adhesive is Ranger's Matte Accents; Glossy Accents works as well, but I like that the Matte disappears when it dries, if any seeps out around the edges.

The bookbinding glue DID stick.... hooray.... that stuff is pretty amazing... glad I have a big bottle of it handy :-)
