He's also going to show you how to make your own alcohol inks. You do not need to bring your own inks but feel free to do so - especially if there's a specific color you want to incorporate into your piece.
The cost is $25 per person.
Thanks, Pam, for clarifying this especially since you won't even be there. It was confusing. We might as well use his alcohol inks and see how to make them. Though I have plenty that are underused. I seem to use the same 3-4 colors all the time. I should just take all those boring colors and do some paintings of sand or something!

Bring your alcohol inks. I'll see how much the tiles cost at Lowe's.

We could play with glossy paper and with plastic sheets too.

So, does this mean, we aren't doing the class? I don't care either way, I think most of us know enough about AIs already. I'm curious if the tiles would get sealed or something after the painting is done. Otherwise, you could take alcohol and wipe off the ink.

I think he's doing this class for our group.... so... a good afternoon to visit the scrapbook store and Tuesday morning... have a late lunch out, maybe... and then go work with alcohol inks from 6 to 9 at his studio.

Reading the rest of his class info... the wine part is BYOB... so I'm guessing we'd bring whatever beverages we wanted.

He is doing the class - 5/11 (Thursday) at 6 p.m.
You do not need to take any supplies with you unless there are colors you have that you want to incorporate into your piece.

He said he would open it to the public to fill the extra seats. I told him our group is very flexible and would have no problem with that.

There are some other shops in this shopping center that you might want to visit... there's also a restaurant in there that we could have late lunch/early dinner at...

http://www.tworoadstavern.com/

I haven't ever eaten in there, but it's got a good reputation... so it's worth a try

I wonder what those buses are, lawn ornaments? Cute. I'm surprised Keitha doesn't want one!
