Kathryn your index cards have been terrific. I love the "road closed" and how you call it a diversion and we call it a detour.

Here are my day 5, 6 and 7 for week 1.

Top-Detour.
Bottom left-kawaii/cute
Bottom right-alliteration. This is the town where we are doing a house exchange in the UK.

Those are so pretty Marianne!

You know I'm more than a bit jealous that Marianne & Kathryn are spending a week together in such a beautiful location! Have a wonderful time and I can't wait to see pictures!

Will you work on your cards together?!
You two have done some great cards and I commend you for actually doing them!

:hijack:
A friend I went to X-Ray school with bought a 6 acre property up in Newcastle ( just a bit north of Jennifer & Farley). It has two homes ( her & hubby in one, daughter & family in the other) and she spent Mothers Day weekend planting 720 lavender plants for her new endeavor! Not exactly sure what all she'll be doing, but we have a reunion in August so I'll hear all about it then! Such a great smell!

My cards have got a bit out of sequence, but at least I've done them! These are Ombré, Alliteration and Tetrahedron.
Brian and I are looking forward to spending a week with Marianne and Ray. We have not seen them for quite a while.

We probably will work on our cards. There is bound to be a rainy day or two or three while they are here.

Oh, a lavender farm! A lot of work for your friend but at least it will smell good!

My cards are out of sequence, too. I had to do the yellow one first.

I really like the circles card a lot. I'm pondering what to do for the tetrahedron. It's been a design motif on many scrapping papers recently but I don't have any of them with me even if I do own any.

I was a bit stumped by the dreaded tetrahedron! I've not seen them on scrapbooking papers, I don't think I've seen them since my school geometry book :P.

Some more cards that I did while crafting with Marianne last week. The prompts were Repetition, Wings, Leaves and Sunshine Yellow.
