I jumped in to take another layout sketch class. I know, I'm crazy. But I am really enjoying this one and have quite a few layouts in progress on my table. This first one is from Sketch 4-C by Bea Valint. I used Pattern Play kit from CS and Faber-Castell Texture Luxe on the Full Circle stencil. I also used every green embellishment I could put my hands on in my stash. I am very happy with how this turned out. Even though I seriously resist one photo layouts. The companion page will have the rest of the photos and tell the story. Yeah, right. You'll see. Thanks for looking.

Nice layout, Jen. Interesting layout; you don't see a lot of circles these days.

I didn't see the stencilling at first. Very cool.
I want to see the companion page as well! (Peer pressure!)

I thought I posted this already but I'd like to keep them all in this thread. Sketch 4-A by Jen Chaplin.

Sketch 7-A by Zinia Amoiridou using Pattern Play from Club Scrap. I am enjoying this class but I must admit I am challenged by single page, single photo layouts. You will note that I used quite a few embossing folders on this one. Just to justify my excessive collection.

I'm sure you can tell I am trying to kill off Pattern Play. Not that I don't like it but I want to use this stuff every month as quickly as possible. Multi-tasking here as usual, this layout is also posted for Week 1 at PSL (Pinked circlesand Nuvo drops). AND it is sketch number 2-C by Meghann Andrew. I used beer glasses rather than hearts and stars which she used. I have also mentioned that starting in 2016, I scrap current things in our life in a 6x8 pocket album. This is a layout for that book. I like to include a 6x8 layout along with some pockets. Thanks for indulging me.

Sketch Number 10C created by Ashley Horton. I made this for PSL, the last week, which requires fibers. There is a little tiny strip of suede ribbon anchoring the gold filigree accent. Again, I used Heidi Shine with the packaging technique. Shake it shake it. Photo from August 1993, when Mallory still lived with us. Five years old. I miss that little girl. Thanks for looking.

There are so many good things to enjoy in your layout, Jen. I like the way you matted the photo with black, it looks so classy against the gold.
Kathryn.

So pretty! Look at little Mallory! Time goes too quickly (except the time clock at work). The Heidi Shine is the perfect touch - along with that black photo matte.

I love Ashley Horton. Love her.
