Another update...

November 19th is 2 months post transplant.

Greg is set to WORK from home!

He plans to go back to the office the beginning of December, 76 days from transplant. 100 days post transplant is the benchmark day. I hope Greg listens to his body, and is not pushing it too much, too fast.

After dinner tonight, the hospital called to say they wanted to set an appointment for Tuesday to REMOVE the central venous catheter! At the clinic visit this past Tuesday, the NP and doc said it might come out 1-2 weeks from then. So woo hoo, out it comes. I only have to change the dressing one more time!

The doc says he is doing so very well.

This journey is much different than we thought it would be...and That's a good thing.

I completely understand your concerns. He’s done so well and seems to know his body. I do think his team would be monitoring him closely enough that they’d see signs of stress early on.

You’re both amazing. What an inspiration!

The doc says most people return to work after the 100 day mark. We'll see how it goes. Working from home is the way to go for now, everyone is okay with this plan.

Absolutely wonderful! Working from home will make it much easier on him, you maybe not,LOL.

At least you will be able to keep an eye on him.

Wonderful news! Just make sure he doesn't over-do. We don't want any set backs at this point.
