It's December 1st!!!

This month's card sketch challenge is to make any kind of card you want. And that's assuming you even have time for that, this being the busiest month of the year. Hopefully we have made enough holiday cards to carry us to 2018...or not...I actually have not.

I will be posting cards here throughout this month of whatever I need to make. There are still gift sets to be made and for some reason I feel compelled to keep up with my SSS kits. And I have November and December kits staring at me. Sigh.

So anything goes! Post what you've made or not. I understand. I'll be back with some fresh ideas for cards January 1st and beyond.

Made this card over the weekend for my stepson's birthday. He is quite an aficionado of craft beer. Stamps from beer stash. Recollections beer bottles. Made from CS Hops & Barley kit.

Thanks so much. I enjoyed making it. He really loved it. His favorite part was the knotholes. Embossing folder to make the wood grain look.

I have to write myself a note and stick it in the Card box for next year. It needs to say "EMBOSSING"!!
I love the dry embossing and forget to use it for backgrounds.

It's so quick and easy! I use the spotty one a lot, I think it's the first embossing folder I bought.
