Well everything was a hit. She loved both the card and the tag too. We caught them about 30 minutes before they were leaving to meet son and family for dinner. She was in high spirits so the day was saved. He was happy too!
I feel a sense of relief and a little pleased that Bob and I pulled this off. Really the kudos go to him for thinking this up. And I’m thankful their son and DIL had a plan too. Bob thought she was teary when she opened the card. She took it to dinner to show the family. Happy ending.
