Continental Divide
Continental Divide
Back to New Mexico, the Land of Enchantment. The Continental Divide is the highest point along Route 66; rainfall to the west drains into the Pacific and to the east drains eventually into the Atlantic. I've been remiss in not including more decrepit buildings and signs in my layouts; The Mother Road is as much about the history, legends and lore as it is about what's along the route today. Reprising the diagonal sketch albeit a different one, and those tiny alphas as part of the title; how have I owned these for 7 years and never used them before? They come from the now defunct Lily Bee Design, I absolutely love them! Patterned papers are from Kaisercraft, chosen for the Indian Markets and the pueblos surrounding the area.

It’s wonderful! Just perfect.
I have sheets of those letter stickers. Thank goodness for tweezers.

Love the diagonal.
Have a ton of those alpha stickers too. I love them but like Pam says "Thank God for tweezers"

I love that layout. And I have never been on Route 66....it's on my bucket list.
