Stay safe, Debi.
Same here - St. Louis sees a fair amount of flooding, but it's from rivers and creeks and doesn't even compare to what it must be like on a coast.

The weather has definitely been strange though. Yesterday in St. Louis started out a little chilly, but sunny and pretty. I heard someone say at one point during the day it had reached nearly 60 degrees. But when I left work, I encountered not one, but TWO blizzards on my commute home, with stretches of clear blue sky in between.

It's like Mother Nature is flat out angry with the East Coast. Not sure what you poor people did to irritate her so much. But then it's like she goes and gets drunk and stumbles through Missouri causing all kinds of nonsense before she passes out and sleeps it off out West. My SIL wrote a post on FB yesterday that said "I just drove through all four seasons on my way home from work today". And she was telling the absolute truth.

I know, right? Even here in N.C. where we take a bit of pride in overreacting to snow in the forecast, we’ve become a bit jaded!

I hope Marianne & Dee can get in another evening of crafting to celebrate.

Wait! It was Wendy - not Dee, right?

Lovely weather here for the second day of Spring! Grey, wet and in the 40s. At least the rain washes the pollen down.

Pam, it was Dee who was here for the power outage crafting party a few weeks ago.

This is the next bout of it. Spring? what Spring? It was 'just' an ice storm last night but today the snow has started.

Up here in Northern Ontario, here's the view out my office window 20 minutes ago. No precip in the forecast for the next week, just a few lingering banks of old snow left. It's cold though, -2C or 28F. Definitely no sign of any tree or flower buds yet.

It snowed like crazy here this morning but no evidence of it now.

Keitha - are you working on any films now? We’ve started watching the Fixer Upper Mystery series. I think my husband has a crush on Jewell. She’s surprisingly very believable in her role.

Funny you should mention those, Pam. I watched one of those then got sucked into the Aurora Teagarden series.

We're prepping another Christmas movie for Netflix that will shoot next month. Apparently, we can't make too many of these.

I actually took a few pictures of what's blooming now (besides Dogwoods and Pears). This is the only Red Honeysuckle I've ever seen IRL. It only grows on the one tree, and from what I've found out about it the plant is very sensitive and almost impossible to move. For now it's happy where it is and I leave it alone. ;)

How pretty! I love honeysuckle. Yes, it’s invasive and all that.

It’s snowing here. Again. We have about an inch so far. I’m sure it’ll be gone by morning. Glad I didn’t plant anything else in the garden today.
