So.... here's another place I want to visit... fairly newly established historic site in Manteo...
http://www.theislandfarm.com/
An 1847 farm... restored... I keep seeing it when I'm on my way to do something else... I don't normally sightsee in Manteo... so... this could be another fun afternoon trip... or maybe even early in the afternoon of the day we go on the Dolphin Cruise...
(I've got a windmill die, too... just sayin')

Re: The Island Farm
There's always the Elizabethan Gardens and the NC Aquarium to visit up in Manteo, too....
and... the small craft store that wasn't stocking scrapbook supplies may now be starting to stock some since the scrapbook store closed... they weren't doing that before because they didn't want to compete with her business (makes me want to go buy stuff from her because of that!!)

Re: The Island Farm
I really enjoyed our visit to Manteo and the Elizabethan Gardens last year and our lunch and the craft store. I'd go back and do it all again the next time.
