I'm getting these in on the 14th Eastern time so I'll be caught up!

One of our two pigeons who visit and sit on our windowsill. He was staring right in at me so I took his picture.

More winners! Your pigeon stare is excellent. I am amazed that you can get such seemingly true colors on colored paper or do you have to really adjust for that using watercolors? However you do it, it is wonderful.

These are all fabulous Marianne, as I knew they would be; you've got mad skillz with a watercolour brush! One of the best things about creating these visual treats is how they instantly transport you back to that time and place when you look at them in future; you're creating a fabulous reminder of your month.

This has been a fascinating journey so far. Such beautiful scenery, subjects and final works of art. Painters always make me say WOW, how do they do that!? Well done Marianne.

I thought you might like the pigeon, Farley! I've taken so many bird photos on this trip, they have their own folder. But I've already decided that if we move here, I need a better zoom.

For these pages of colored paper, I'm looking for subjects that would look natural on that color paper. There is a lot of sky here in my photos so it was easier than I thought it would be to add greens and grey over the blue. I didn't think it mattered that the white mug looked bluish but added the white pen and smeared it around to add some white.

The next 3.

There are several glass sea creatures in the bathroom here. My favorite is this whale.

I also like this glass dolphin. We see dolphins out our windows every few days. Update:
THIS afternoon we saw TWO BABY DOLPHINS with their parents!!!

It's common to see the remains of a bushfire along the roads here. Most of the trees have no leaves, of course, but some have the burnt leaves still clinging to the blackened limbs and trunks. I don't know why they don't burn off or what kind of trees they are.

I think glass is a hard thing to paint, but your pieces are wonderful.
