Oct 2018 use it or lose it challenge

I had a brilliant idea for the challenge this month but can't remember where I wrote it down.
So - I'm reverting to an old favorite. The challenge is to choose a product you've had for a while but every time you pick it up, you end up not using it. This is the month to finally use it - or set it free. It must leave your stash this month. Sometimes I postpone using an item because it's "special". Sometimes it's because I really have no use for it - or it's simply not my style. There are probably 100's of reasons why we keep stuff stashed away.
Stamps, embellishments, die cuts, inks, stickers, paper - whatever!

If you end up trashing the item, or gifting it to someone else, please post a photo.

Funny thing... I was looking at the disaster of my craft space last night and thinking I really need to purge again. Let some things go to another home, finish projects that are half-done, and just be more proactive about it. One of the things I need to purge through is 6x6 papers, so if anyone wants a pile of those, let me know!

I'm going to be using up a bunch of them soon.... decided to get a table in a somewhat local bazaar on November 3rd... so I'm frantically making cards. Figure I'll have some priced at $3 and $5 but then figured I could also have some more simple ones using paper from the 6x6 pads and a sentiment and minimal embellishment for $1 each. Need to make sure I fill up the table - so those $1 ones will be quick and easy to make. And... with various price points... I'm hoping no one walks away without getting at least one card... LOL

also going to have other paper crafted items... stocking stuffer type things...

I'll take photos and will let y'all know how I do... hopefully ok... and if so, I'll do it again next year... so we'll see!!

Thanks, Nancie! All I can say is after a certain point, if something's not used, I really try to either use it or gift it on.

So, I figured out what to do with some of that wildly out of control disaster... I'm going to make up a cardmaking box for the Mayor. She and I did cards on election primary night, as we had to be open until 8pm for people to drop off ballots, and she loved it.

Just last night I looked at my room and thought “I’ve got to get rid of some of this”!!! You must be psychic Pam! I have too much stuff on the floors of my room not to mention my desk.

I used up some fall puffy stickers this afternoon on my planner pages for the month of October. It’s silly how happy it makes me to throw away one of those backer sheets when I use the last sticker.

I’ve had this tag since 2006 or 2007? I’ve had it on my desk for the past couple of years - determined to use it. Today I remembered I had more of the collection (somewhere in this house is a mini album from the same collection).
