Had PT appointment #2 yesterday. A friend took him so I’m hearing the report second hand. His therapist is impressed with his range of motion and equally impressed with how he modified his immobilizer. I’m not sure I believe the comment about the immobilizer but he didn’t come home with a new one.
Only 3 hours of sleep last night even with dilaudid and melatonin. How expensive are sledge hammers?

One week down, 23 more to go before he can be evaluated to go back to work.

Exactly! Tonight we went for Filipino food and a quick trip to WalMart (I’m so ashamed! Proof I’ll do most anything for a grandchild.) He did so well. Bought some melatonin gummies. Crossing my fingers.
He’s really doing much better than I ever hoped for - except for sleeping.

Glad to hear Joel is improving, even if slowly. Sending healing thoughts your way.

Saw this on FB but I'm really behind in PAO friends.

Glad he is improving, slow is the way. I've been there with Joe having had 2 shoulder replacements (different times) and sleeping in the recliner for 3 months. It does get better Pam but it does take a lot of time and patience. Hope his recovery keeps going well.
