Passport challenge from Kindred Stamps & Beth Duff Designs

Post by Monica »

I haven't done much actual crafting other than our swaps here for a bit, but I've been really getting into the nerd stamp sets from Kindred Stamps, so when they posted a coloring challenge on FB using six digital stamp images and a digital passport designed for it I decided what the hell. Had a girlfriend who's a lot better at PhotoShop than I am put the passport background in and add in the digital stamps over top for me to color, then I just went to town with my Prismacolors. The front cover is Prismacolors, and my gold Wink of Luna pen to simulate the gold embossed image.

I wasn't sure I'd get this done, as my printer died due to operator error (mine) a couple weeks back, but hubby ordered me a Canon Pixma and spent last night setting it up. I can print from the laptop and the printer in the other room will just print without me going over and using a usb cord! I feel so 21st century now.  And thank you to those of you who have and recommended that printer, as I scrolled through PAO discussions a few months back to find out what everyone liked.

Anyway, here's my little passport.

What a fun project!

My photo printer is like a breath of fresh air. I completely understand the feeling!

What a terrific project Monica! Nerdy or otherwise, these are great stamps and your coloring is super. Off to look at this site.

And I love being able to print from my phone, iPad, laptop, etc without being next to the printer. My son prints from upstairs on the same printer. Ain’t technology grand?
