Pillows I made

Post by Debbie J »

With the help of my neighbor lady. I’ve been wanting to make some pillows out of Rod’s flannel shirts for the grandkids and this is what they turned out as. I thought they were really cute! The kids will love them.

These worked out so well, and I love the pocket on the front, perfect for keeping little "treasures " in.

I agree with Kathryn on keeping the pockets right in front. A wonderful idea.

I think the pockets would be a great place to stash a photo of him or a little memento that they can have as a keepsake. Great job on the pillows.

Great minds think alike Pam P! I went through all the photos of the grandkids and found the best ones, IMO, lol. For Caitlin I put of photo of her and Papa in his boat and she’s about 3 years old with the Snoopy pole he bought her. She’s caught a tiny walleye about 4 inches long. For Ashley a photo of her when she was 4 and he’s got her on his shoulders and they are both grinning ear to ear. For Allyson it was her high school graduation where he’s lifting her off her feet and for Jak a photo of him and Papa on the 4 wheeler when Jack was 6 years old. I printed them off and stashed them in the pocket. I hope they like them. I mailed them yesterday.
