2019 February Card Sketch - Swiper Card

Post by paddlegal »

Happy February! I thought it would be fun after the reaction to my swiper card to make it the February challenge. Whatever you put on the front panel is up to you!

I have found the video link which will be a lot better than me trying to make a photo tutorial. But I am giving you the dimensions of the few necessary pieces which Lesley Oman of Heffy Doodle breezes through a bit fast. BUT DO watch the video first before cutting so it makes more sense.

You will need:

1 8.5 X 11 card stock - following her video you will end up with the following pieces:

2, 4 1/4 X 7 1/2
2, 2 1/8.

After doing the twist card with the Mintay Birdsong paper, I thought it would also work for this challenge.

This was a fun and surprisingly easy card to make. Thanks for the challenge, Farley.

I'm replenishing my Valentine cards using some never before used stamps. This was my first try and I messed up setting up the "flip out" pieces - but not to admit defeat (LOL) I just used the one flip.

Not to be set back by my initial failure - I tried again.

Double posting these cards.

These MFT Owls were perfect for Valentine cards for my grandkids. First one is for Vanessa 5 and the second for Nathaniel 7 next week.
