February cards
February cards
Made some more cards this week. They're all inspired from cards I saw on Pinterest, but the first and the last ones are almost direct copies.

Great cards!
I have to say, I WILL NOT BUY ANOTHER CARD FROM A RETAIL STORE...if I can not help it. Spent a wad of $$$ on cards the other day.
Sooo, thank you for inspiration Sue. I must get busy.

Pat, the Dollar Tree actually has some nice cards if you don't have time to make your own and you won't pay four or five dollars per card. I've picked some up just because I
thought they were pretty and I could use them on scrapbook pages or as Project Life type cards.

Re: February cards
Thanks Sue. I do not go there very often. I found out recently that my SIL works for a paper company {used to be called Ambrose, but have changed their name???}, and they make the Hallmark wrapping paper sold there. Don't use much of that either anymore.pugmom wrote:Pat, the Dollar Tree actually has some nice cards if you don't have time to make your own and you won't pay four or five dollars per card. Beautiful card!
Re: February cards
I found the tutorial for this flap fold card on Pinterest (from 2013). I used the Mintay Secret Place paper pad.

Great cards, Sue!!
And... I agree.... I'm never buying a card again. It's way too easy for us crafty people to make our own.... and they mean more to the recipients, I hope!!
