It's official

Both of my grandsons will now be
residents of Western USA
One requested a job transfer to
Colorado Springs from his employer,
Lockheed Martin, and it was approved
and the second will be working in Mountain
View, California at Google headquarters.
I'm extremely happy for both of them, but
will miss them terribly. Color me depressed!

I'm with you, Elizabeth. I love that my kids have moved to places they like, but I miss them. Unfortunately with George's health our travel has become limited. I still have a "Washington Or Bust" sign flashing in my head.

Well congratulations to your sons! I hope the son headed to my home state is prepared for the crazy prices of renting or buying a home. But he will be in the South Bay Area and it is quite nice with much activities to enjoy and places to visit. Colorado will be awesome for your other son. I am sure you will miss them but I have no doubt you must be really proud of their successes. Well done mom!
