Something useful

Post by Keitha »

If you've ever cruised you know a lanyard can come in handy especially at the pool - typically there are no pockets in bathing suits and pareos. Thought about buying one but I prefer the kind with the holder for your keycard rather than just punching a hole in it and they don't all come with those, so I decided to make my own. These shark dies from Avery Elle amuse me. I have sandwiched my watercoloured card between two layers of plastic and sewn around to protect it. Then I added another layer of plastic to make the pocket, and added some ribbon from my stash and a grommet.

And here's the back, with my previous cruise card. It isn't perfect - but I can guarantee no one else will have one like it.
