He does the same to me Pam. Greg is home now. I think he needs to see a pulmonary DR for a good once over. He has been wheezing for a while now upon the slightest exertion, and these past few days have been more so.

Happy Saturday, It's sunny out there. Lawns are being mowed for the first time. I'm tempted to do the same... :D

Oh my gosh friends!

Pat I am so sorry Greg was back in hospital. I hope they gave him some meds to knock this out (unles it is viral?). So happy he’s home now. Take. It. Easy. Please!

Pam, yikes! Can’t keep a good man down. I hope his recovery moves along so he can at least work some. That alone would be good medicine being able to be active not to mention a real paycheck.

So Bob has been doing quite well until a week ago and came down with an achy ear and sore throat. We thought it was a cold but it never turned into one. He finally “allowed” me to take him to Urgent Care Thursday (his doc is sick!). Waiting on one test to come back but strep and pneumonia have been ruled out. This virus has made him weak and not too interested in food. I am tempting him with some not-so-legal treats plus making him drink water. If this doesn’t improve by Monday I’m taking him in again. Meantime he’s been of course unable to do the rehab. It will be like starting all over again for him I fear.

My hugs to you all

Farley...did they do a swab for the flu? Greg's DR did not. ED did. They were wondering about pneumonia as well.

Bob's symptoms sounds like it could be several things. I hope he feels better soon.

Greg says this is the worst he's felt in ages. He got Tamiflu (sp?). The ED says It's mid April already, the flu should be on It's way. They also said this year's flu shot is 50/50 effective. Last year was 90/10.

Take care everyone.

Bob did get swabbed. They were able to rule out strep right away but are checking for other things. He felt slightly better yesterday but is still on the weak side. X-ray showed no pneumonia. Flu shots have not helped him two years in a row. I’ve never had one. So far so good this year.

Hope Greg is feeling better today.

Greg a bit better today. Still on the weak side.

Tackled all the mail from several days.

Thinks he will stay home from work tomorrow, unless miraculously stronger and fit.

This is the first year since 2009 that George hasn't had pneumonia. His 02 levels are so good at this point that his pulmonary specialist removed all oxygen from the house. We've also seen improvement in his kidney function over the past year (he was bordering on renal failure) and all of his cardiac follow-ups have been excellent. Also no sinus infections, colds or flu.

And don't laugh, but I noticed last night that he now has patches of dark hair showing up in the silver. Now if he could only grow back some of what fell out!

Great news about George! And that lets you get a little more rest, too. Less worrying!!

Sigh. Joel’s doctor said see you in 7 weeks - no PT this week (too inflamed), no work for now.

Oh rats and so sorry.

Bob is feeling better today and sore throat is gone. Still weak and feeling tired. He will have to skip cardiac rehab this week again but hopefully next week maybe be up to it.
