Well, that was no fun!
Well, that was no fun!
Thanks Debi for getting us up and running again.
Pam, I wonder if we should keep the Facebook page as a back up? A few of us could commit to posting there just to keep it active.
What do you all think?

Re: Well, that was no fun!
Oh it was a ton of fun.... LMAO
Once we got an error message on the forum page, we at least had something to search for... my tech wasn't a good searcher.... I located a clue right off the bat and then she was able to fix things.
Seems that yesterday's tech tried to upgrade the version of the forum... long overdue.. but... it's not something I'm going to try since this sweet ol' forum is working just fine the way it is now.

Re: Well, that was no fun!
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
The FB page is going to stay in case of things like this happening. It also might pull in some new members if it's kept active. I'm going to work on the FB page to allow people to join. I sent invitations to the people I knew were on PAO regularly, but am still trying to get my eyes working properly (it takes a few hours), bake a cake, clean the house, and get the guest room ready. Tiny is coming home for a while and my "easy birth" son and his fiance are coming, too.
If I were a decent housekeeper and stayed away from ink and paper for a while, I'd have a cleaner house.
Debi, I looooooove you!!!
Re: Well, that was no fun!
Oh my goodness. I was getting a BIT frantic.
Thank you very much Debi. I am most appreciative!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you so much, Debi. I was trying every which way I could think of to get here.
I even tried to find the Facebook group, even though I don't have an account. I couldn't find it, but if I had been successful, I was going to have my husband get in with his account.
So glad we're back and all is well. I missed everyone

Re: Well, that was no fun!
Thank you, Debi!!! I felt like I was cut off from family for a bit! And Pam P, I'll try to remember to help keep the PAO FB page a bit more active. I've been trying to go more FB lite, but what I do look at are crafty groups, so PAO will simply be added to that list.

Hooray and yes let’s keep FB active. I was having SERIOUS withdrawals!
Debi thank you for your expert persistence...you are a life saver.
Re FB: I think it would be a great idea for us to keep it also alive and a good spot to post our art as well. StampNation (Catherine Pooler) has a FB page as well as the SN forum for members only. I post on both with no problem since in that large group not everyone is on FB.

Re: Well, that was no fun!
Debi, can all of us post on the PAO blog or does it require special access? Maybe a couple of members could help keep that active as well? I never think to check it.

Re: Well, that was no fun!
It's the admin login for the site. So just Julie and me.
But you can post comments/replies to things I put up there. And then ill check those more frequently and approve them. You wouldn't believe some of the "replies"we get. LOL

Woo hoo! was so glad to see the forum back up. Thank you, Debi!!!!!!
Re: Well, that was no fun!
Debi - thank you SO MUCH for working with tech support to get things back up and running! I was otherwise committed all weekend and would not have been able to follow through with support calls. I figure I'll be better equipped to support the forum again in about 6 years or so.
