I Thought This Might Amuse You All - A Booboo Now
I Thought This Might Amuse You All - A Booboo Now
Today was a new release of stamps, dies etc at Catherine Pooler. Needless to say Bob is giving me a very nice Christmas gift.
But aside from new stamps and dies I also planned on getting any reinkers for my ink pads (I have all the colors ). Well, to be sure I selected only ones I didn’t have, and I did make a list ages ago, I was not certain I was up to date. I downloaded clean CP Ink swatch sheets and this is how I made sure I ordered correctly. So yes, where you see blank open squares are missing reinkers. I’ll have them by Friday I think. Their service is outstanding.
I must say I love these pads and their colors. LMAO at myself.

Hey, I've got a couple drawers of reinkers myself... okay three or four... lol. But you never know when you need one, either to refresh a pad or some other crafty purpose.

Yes, you need reinkers. I have a boat load. CS, Distress varieties, CP inks, a few others, etc.

Well done, Farley! Some may consider it a little OCD, but if it keeps you from buying things you already have it's totally worth it. Reinkers last a long time; no need to double up on those. Plus, I find looking at all those organized sheets in my swatch book makes me happy.
I, too, have a stash of them - although not 3 or 4 drawers' worth. But I do wonder if I have some for ink pads I no longer have...? No matter, they can be used for things other than their intended purpose.

I went through mine last year and got rid of what I no longer have pads for, but I have reinkers for all my Distress and Oxides, plus the Adirondacks, some archivals.... and that's just Ranger. Then there's the versamark one, the metallics... every time I think I should get rid of them I find a pad that needs reinked!Keitha wrote:Well done, Farley! So last night I thought I’d get ahead of the arrival of the additional 13 reinkers coming Saturday and get the swatch card filled in with what I have. The third color I stamped was in the wrong square. Doh! That orange mug is Tutti Frutti, not Party Dress! That’s what I get for attempting this at 11pm.
Monica I thought you’d like the stamp I chose. I need to work on the “coffee” part.

I’ve got all the ink pads and I’m working on the reinkers. Here are some cards that I made for our January card club. They are donating them to the cancer hospital. The theme was Uplifting, encouragement etc. I used CP inks, stamps and dies.
And I used up about 10 sheets of 6x6 paper!

P.S. That Christmas card looks like my sweet Duke!
Re: I Thought This Might Amuse You All - A Booboo Now
Debbie, super cards! Don’t you love that mini die plate? So...did you go for any of the new release sets or bundles? I thought of you when I saw (and bought) the “Wanna Hug” bundle with the cacti and Southwest motifs.

Thanks all and yes I thought about the Wanna Hug bundle but I already have a slew of cactus themed stamps and dies so I refrained, at least temporarily! Lol
