All I wanted to do this Christmas Eve
was go home from work, make something
simple for dinner and go to bed. I told my
kids weeks ago that I was too tired to do
anything that they should make other plans.
But, they have decided they are coming to my
house anyway, guess that nap isn't going to
happen :)

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL, and TO ALL A GOOD YEAR

It’s just the two of us and we are having an extremely pleasant Christmas Eve having just finished my Instant Pot chili and sipping Oak Farm Vineyard’s “Vapor Trail” Zinfandel. It’s-just-so-delicious. So is my chili, LOL. Charley is up at his girlfriend’s family home for the night and will be back here for Christmas Day afternoon/evening and our annual Scrabble Game that lasts for hours if not days. Pesto pasta on the menu for tomorrow night and more Vapor Trail. :D

Merry Christmas and Pam I am so happy for you and your kitchen being back in business.

Merry Christmas ! We're enjoying a very non-Christmas Christmas. We're settled in, but I decided not to put up any decorations. I'm just done with packing and unpacking boxes. Our oldest son is here, but his brother didn't have any more vacation days and I really miss him.

We're having a very no stress holiday --- very conservative with the gift giving, just regular food, watching holiday movies, etc., and I love it.

The rest of the week we'll be doing a little sightseeing. Colin leaves on Sunday and then my brother arrives on Tuesday for a week's stay.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Sue, Merry Christmas! So happy you checked in with us. Your Christmas sounds a little like ours. I kept it very simple this year with light decorating. We’ve just been weirdly busy but fun times with our family.

Enjoy your time with the family and new surroundings.

Merry Christmas to you all!! No crafty gifts this year (like I need anything LOL). It's been a very mild temperatured day here in MIchigan, not at all what we are used to on Christmas that's for sure.

I hope you all enjoy the rest of the holiday week!

Merry Christmas!! We had a great day yesterday! Visited neighbors and friends and delivered their gifts. Mike cooked a yummy beef tenderloin.

Tonight, were planning to go see the Star Wars movie. I've got a gift card for a restaurant so we'll eat out, too!

We left home an hour early Christmas morning-3:30 instead of 4:30 am! We saw more trucks in our county than we did nearly the rest of the day. Breakfast at Denny's near Petersburg, VA about 8 am. Denny's is one of the few restaurant chains open on Christmas Day. No lunch in Charlotte because we couldn't find anything open (Ray wouldn't stoop as low as Waffle House) and their Denny's was packed and people waiting. We got to Athens, GA about 4 pm. Traffic was light and well behaved most of the way.
