These are east coast beach papers (in my mind anyway). So many beach collections are tropical beach themed.

It's gorgeous.

And will be perfect for my photos from the NC Aquarium in Manteo.... so that means I need to get rid of the same amount of paper before I can buy this set. :-)

It’s really pretty but I can’t scrap with G45.

I usually agree with you on that, Debbie. But these papers look like lots of overall small, repetitive designs. So they might be just right for scrapping.

Generally the B side is easier to use. The colors are beautiful. Looking forward to seeing what Jim Hankins creates with it.

Nice east coast beach collection. A few years ago I heard that Graphic 45 was designed more for mini-albums and other projects rather than scrapbook layouts. As soon as I heard that it all made sense to me; I also have a hard time scrapping regular layouts with it. I agree the B sides are easier, but it's the gorgeous feature papers that draw me to the collections in the first place. Y'all have reminded me I need to get out a mini-album project using an old G45 collection and get it finished.

I've done a lot of odd projects with G45 using various parts of the papers. I do have a LO of Adam made using the Gentleman collection that I've framed and hung. I also have a very strange bird house with a flying pig that used Olde Curiosity Shoppe. I made a one year album using the first calendar papers collection and am considering doing that again this year using the leftovers. I find I tend to use it primarily for mixed media type things. I have a stack of cigar boxes waiting for inspiration to strike and a stack of G45 waiting.

I think their line is a bit like Shimelle's in that you either hate it and can't figure out what to do with it or you love it and let your creativity run wild with it.

I got into the habit of buying the 8x8 pads. But even then it is sometimes hard to eek out a card. This is a lovely sea collection. Some of my larger 3D cutting projects work well with the 12x12 papers. I used a whole 12x12 pad of 12 Days of Christmas years ago making a 12 sectioned accordion card for family members. It was perfect for that.

I have trouble with their large bold patterns because I see them as full background papers. The big patterns need to be cut down or have many layers over them. There's a class for that!
