Scraplift Round 3 Layouts!
Scraplift Round 3 Layouts!
This is the original page. I lifted Shimelle’s page. She used papers from her current collection. I was inspired to use a 6x6 pad because of the smaller prints.

I loved the circles and was also intrigued by the idea of doing a grid LO. Plus I hadn't done a Macie LO in a while! I've since added the date and some small phrase stamps that I added to several of the circles. Wish I'd thought of that before I scanned it!
BTW - thanks for the background paper, Pam! It was perfect for this.

I can't wait to see how this round of
pages progresses.
Both of your background papers look like they were
created using inks

Love the first two LOs and hope I don’t get kicked out when you see mine. You’re going to think “where did that come from?” Hahaha.
This has been great fun PamC.

Re: Scraplift Round 3 Layouts!
I like the background idea and I resurrected this heart punch and grabbed a back nah of 6 x 6 papers for punching! Yay!!
At first, I had the photo in landscape mode but then realized they were sitting up when I took that. So a little rearranging did the trick.
Just realized I need to adjust that round embellishment.

Re: Scraplift Round 3 Layouts!
Debbie and Debi...super LOs!
I am so off the mark I am LMAO. I seem to have pretty much one style regardless of the challenge. But at least this has been making me do LOs!
So...yes, another bird. This is a Yellow-Rumped Warbler (in case you can’t read my huge title, LOL). It visits the Central Valley every winter. All Warbler species are known for NEVER standing still for more than a second. This female must have needed a rest and was so accommodating to my camera. I am actually quite proud of this photo since all other attempts of photographing any Warbler has been a blur of colors.
At least I did catch the “circle” thing and thought I was quite clever in the horizontal band of dots.
I am also pleased that I am using my stash...BIG Thickers. But they too had gold dots...see...more circles.

Re: Scraplift Round 3 Layouts!
I didn't deviate too much from Farley's page. I liked her layering and use of different, but coordinating patterned papers. Love these challenges.

I followed Sue's use of layered papers
and stripes across the bottom of the page
where she used a multi-frame die, I used
photo mats angled to mimic the effect and
I replaced her camera element and the word
Dad with my title block.
The ribboned ring has the words: dream, hope, trust,
and love.
This was an emotional page for me as my SIL
was diagnosed with Early Alzheimer's disease
6 years ago so my DD doesn't have too many
days that could be considered "Lovely" but this
was one of his "good" days

Kick you out????? Who??? Let me at 'em!!
I think these are all a great example of how we take our inspiration from one or many things and adapt them to our own style. Our pages show how one thing can inspire a cascade of ideas. I loved the morph!
And best of all? - We're using our stash and getting those memories on paper!
Re: Scraplift Round 3 Layouts!
Fabulous layouts everyone; so fun to see how the design morphed as it moved from hand to hand. There's some great scraplift inspiration here...
Re: Scraplift Round 3 Layouts!
OMG so much inspiration! I have to be honest, I was worried my page would be a bit too simple and they would all look the same. You all are wonderful!
Keep an eye out. I’ll post another round some time soon. If anyone else wants to start a round, please feel free to do so!
