Oh, my, it has been too long, how could I forget, Clifford the big red dog! One of our favorites. I was looking at the other one, trying to figure out if it was Ernie!pbp908 wrote:Clifford is my friend! The boys insisted that I hold their toys, so they went around the room collecting and delivering them to me.

Sue! Such a simple yet stunning page. I’m seeing a trend for torn edges again and it’s perfect for this page.
Beki - great idea to turn the design 90 degrees. I’m Shimelle’s current class, she rotates each sketch and talks about how to keep the page balanced. You did a great job with this!

What I love is seeing the color inspirations from page to page. And I'm very glad to see that the scribbled borders somehow made their way back in!

What a wonderful compliment, Pam; thank you!pamcook wrote:Beki - great idea to turn the design 90 degrees. I’m Shimelle’s current class, she rotates each sketch and talks about how to keep the page balanced. You did a great job with this!
Recently, I watched her Timeless Layout Techniques video in which she had a “special guest”...what a great video. He is just too cute!
I needed to rotate the design as I wanted to follow Sue’s design as much as possible and none of my landscape oriented photos inspired me, that day.
These challenges are great! Not only do they get me actually creating, they keep me out of my comfortable rut of repeating the same design.

I agree, Beki... it's fun seeing what we can create with these challenges.
Same kind of fun as watching Shimelle's sketch classes and how she manipulates her own sketches. And... yep... in her current videos on Facebook, her little helper is a cutie!

Great page. Great color choices, Debbie. And your granddaughter is lovely. I love all the little kitty embellishments and that mouse is too cute.

Thank you Sue, but I must confess I posted the wrong one! Thanks to Beki for looking out for me. Too crazy for sure. This staying at home is taking its toll.

I came after Debbie, it's hard to see my layers
because they are so monochromatic but there are 3
layers on top of the base page
