I'd love to join him there for a martini! Great page and great memory.

Re: Color Challenge - EDITED
Sue, I love the design of your page and I agree - the coral-y color is a great choice.
Jill - great to see you creating! Where is this restaurant? I like how you gave each pice of artwork their own space on the page.

Yay Jill! Great page. I forget to check my ribbons and fibers all the time - thanks for the reminder!
Re: Color Challenge - EDITED
Wonderful, my favorite color!! Yellow doesn't get enough use. Each layout is fabulous!
Re: Color Challenge - EDITED
I used the pink as my accent color along with the yellow and black & white
And this was one of the sketches from Shimelle’s class.

Aw, the pink matches Chevie's tongue!

I hadn't noticed that the pink matched her tongue. But it sure does!!

Re: Color Challenge - EDITED
Ladies, these are all great, and prove that yellow is not only a good complement for vintage, B&W photos but works equally well with more contemporary, edgy looks.
Jill, I also have photos from the Polk-A-Dot Drive-In, although as I recall it was early morning when we were there and wasn't yet open. But it's a Route 66 institution, having first opened in 1956 and been serving burgers, etc. in that spot since 1962.

Re: Color Challenge - EDITED
When I stepped out of the car to see the goldfinches brightening up a dreary, rainy day this challenge popped into my head, so I grabbed my phone and snapped a couple of photos despite being too far away to really get a decent shot. Susan Stringfellow/Sketch Savvy sketch. My orange accent colour matches a few dead leaves still on the tree. Definitely not what I saw in my head, but it is what it is.

Wow, Keitha, very artsy! Of course, I love the yellow paint through the stencil. And the touches of orange are just the right accent to bring out the warm leaves and siding.

Perfect!
