Missing in Action

Post by troublesmom »

I've been out of the loop here for a while and even had to resign in today. I hope to catch up some and do some cards. I've not been able to make it to our ReCreate this year and it disappoints me but in hopes maybe another one. Not sure.

Some of you may know that I do genealogy and have many brick walls but just recently I've had a major breakthrough and that has been taking my time. A DNA match has provided me with baptism records for several ancestors including my great grandfather and my gggrandfathers marriage record. These are all in German but we have figured a lot of it out. He is trying to determine our common ancestor. This is taking a lot of my time but I do hope to get more involved her soon.

You and your work have been missed Cheryl, but that's great that you're making good progress on your genealogy. I'm sure it's quite satisfying to put some more details in place.

Congratulations on breaking the wall! I still have walls with my James family but am working on it as my patience allows.

Pam you know that every wall that comes down brings us new ones in it's place. I have so very many but it is good to find something.

Welcome back, Cheryl. You've been missed.
Yes, we are all settled in and in spite of not being able to go anywhere, we are very happy.
