California Bar Exam is Today!

After two postponements and readjusting his studying and preparations Charley is currently taking the Bar Exam...finally! It was to have been late July. But of course due to Covid it was delayed until early September...but wait, no...rescheduled again to October 5 & 6. He and the majority of exam takers are having to take the exam from home, on laptops, monitored by AI and human proctors via laptop cameras. He’s had to empty his study room so no books, notes etc are visible to the camera. They cannot take their eyes away from the computer. I read the full instructions last night. That in itself was the most convoluted pile of brain twisting nonsense ever. Half the exam is understanding the instructions!

Today’s exam consists of 5, one hour essays. 15 minute break between each so you can drink water and use the bathroom. No water, food, watches, tissues...nothing allowed in the room with him. He’ll have a one hour lunch break. He’s officially now working on essay #1. Exam over at 4:30. Tomorrow is multiple choice. Two blocks of 50 questions and finally an essay performance test.

Can’t wait for 4:30 tomorrow!

He’s just now headed into essay #2. I made him something to eat quick since he had a hard time eating breakfast.
