The last few days in the Central Valley have begun to feel fall like!
Today the components for this card arrived and I couldn’t go to bed without making something with the dies and stencils. I was not familiar with The Greetery until last Friday. I purchased dies, stencils and a stamp set on Friday and they arrived today! The grid of squares is a cover plate die and you can add a three-part stencil to add color to it which of course I added and so happy I did. I used CP inks with the stencils and I can’t wait to try other color combos. I’m crazy about the fringed rug/quilt in the center. Leaves are from the fall Brutus Monroe inspiration box. Hope to play with the stamps that also came from The Greetery very soon.

Lovely card, Farley. I often use pinks/reds/oranges together but don't think to add lavender; I'll have to try it. As an aside, up here in North Bay it's starting to feel like winter LOL. The autumn colours peaked about 3 weeks ago and many of the trees are now bare. When I left the hotel to come to work yesterday my car was coated with a layer of frost; good thing the heater/defroster works well as I hadn't thought to put my snowbrush in the car last time I was home.
Re: Hello Fall Card
Such a pretty color combination. I rarely use side by side colors from the color wheel (analogous?). Your card might be a push to give it a try.
Keitha, I wondered if winter had found you. We’re going to be warmer than normal the next few days. I love fall and very much resent it when summer hangs around.

Beautiful card, Farley. That fringed die is very tempting.

Keitha, Pam, Sue and Jill thank you all so much! This is a very fun stencil to play with even without the die.
Keitha hard to think of winter already for you! It was 91 today. I’ve had enough of the heat. At least the smoke is nearly gone.

You’ll be amazed at how great it cuts and embosses. I did not use any shims for the coaster and it came out perfect.
