prayers for my brother please
Re: prayers for my brother please
The latest is that he’s getting steroids and antibiotics. They’re considering a plasma infusion (no idea). The doctors are very sure he will pull through.
He and his family appreciate all the prayers.

Elizabeth, that’s what I keep thinking. It’ll be interesting and I wish I had some information about it.

Re: prayers for my brother please
Pam I hope his therapy is going well. Is he in your area of NC? And how is the rest of the family fairing with this nasty bug?

Re: prayers for my brother please
Kevin is now on “only” 5 liters of oxygen. I can’t remember what I’ve written. Bilateral pneumonia and bilateral pneumothorax. I believe they did do the plasma treatment. Not sure though. I’m still monitoring my sister-in-law. I’m so worried she’ll end up with pneumonia as well. (They live in Ohio.)
Chris is now home. Almost 3 hour surgery. Removed a (“very healthy looking”) lymph node under his right pectoral muscle - excruciatingly painful. Large incision below his right shoulder blade (melanoma site) and multiple painful unsuccessful IV sites. Now we wait 7-10 days for the biopsy report and he has to endure the 3 of us hovering over him.
I’m so thankful they’re here. I’m so thankful to have you all to lean on.

Keep leaning Pam. This is just too much. Virtually wrapping my arms around you for a long hug. Deep breaths.

Oh Boy.....
when it rains.....
Pam, I am keeping you and your family in my
thoughts and prayers, I hope all goes well with
the biopsy report and everything tests as a normal
node.
I hope your brother begins to show improvement
and your SIL will not need to be hospitalized, but if she is,
maybe they will allow them to share a room
