The Amazing Digital Scrapbook Race

Post by ChrisR »

As many of you already know, Annette and I are competing in this race. The race consists of two weekly challenges. The challenges have to be completed by the deadline in order to continue. There are freebies given to teams who complete a challenge. There is a grand prize being given away to a team pulled at random that manages to complete all the challenges. Entries are only being judged based if the complete the criteria for the challenge.

The first challenge was posted today. We had to tear a photo into 3 pieces and include journaling. Before you ooh and ahh, an action for PSE is available for free for a limited time to make the tearing action super easy! http://www.atomiccupcake.com/catalog.php?subcat=r even if you have to pay the $5 it is well worth it.

Here is my entry:

Chris, that is not only a terrific and very clever LO but hilarious. I remember those wonderful lego-thon days. DS is 14 but still has the "tower o'legos" in his room. Not quite ready to give them up even though he hasn't touched them in more than a year.

That is a great layout   Like everyone else said, I love the torn photo and the view from the top puts distance from you and the mess.
Very Good, Very Good, Very Good!!!!!! (thanks Luanne)

LOL! Yep - that's a mess alright....but they probably had a lot of fun and it kept them out of your hair, right?
What a great photo - I'm assuming you have a two story home - as opposed to climbing up a ladder.........I like that idea and will have to remember that about the photo shot...
Hope you're all feeling better now.
Great layout Chris. What a fun challenge this is for you!

And now for something completely different.

Here is my layout for the first challenge in the race. I had all kinds of difficulties with this.

Annette-- very cool! I like the idea you had of putting it into the frame, and neat Idea using the quote.
