Asking for prayers, please

Post by pat-czap »

My son Dan, who lives with us, finally got his covid test from Monday. He is positive. He has been in his room since Monday. He is a tad angry about the whole thing, isolation, not working, etc. Thankfully, he is feeling good, and his bad days were last weekend with chills, sore throat and congestion.
Greg and I have been hanging out at home, and our official quarantine begins when the health dept. gives Dan the okay to be free, unless we develop symptoms!

Please keep a good thought for all of us, it would be much appreciated.

Happy my fridge and cupboards are full, but dang, I'm missing my post office window of opportunity to mail my packages at the beginning of December.

2020 is not winning any points with me. :?

Oh no! While I’m so happy to hear his symptoms haven’t been horrible, I can’t imagine how stressful this is for you.
Are you taking zinc? Most elderberry gummies have zinc in them. Also, get plenty of vitamin D.
Love and prayers for protection and continued healing for your son. :happy94:

Thanks ladies.

I do take zinc and a calcium tab with vitamin D.

I'm feeling okay, but have cold like symptoms, so I am trying not to be THAT crazy. Greg is like, don't wish yourself ill, what will be, will be.
Even though we have been at home all week, our quarantine does not begin till Dan is cleared by health dept.

Thank you so much ladies, I sure do appreciate your concern and well wishes.

Greg and I hope to get tested on Tuesday, which was recommended by his doctor. The 3 of us are able to spread out in the house, and I have claimed my craft room. Dan lives in what was our "guest room" and Greg got our room...cause I'm nice that way. :D
