Sue - those colors!!
Great idea to have that beautiful teal on the bottom.

I rather followed Sue's lead, because I liked it. Mine, meh, could have tweaked it a bit.
Attitude adjustment needed.

Here’s mine! This is also the one I used some project life cards on.

It really is amazing how much they change and I love seeing what each takes their inspiration from.

I could have replicated Debi’s with all the sunrise/sunset pictures I’ve taken on Hatteras, but I didn’t.

I love the story about Lucas asking for money and then pooling it all together and buying the train set. Too many kids (and adults) don't have a grasp of how that works!! Great layout... and great memory to document!

Thanks, Debi! He's something else. Since then, he has acquired an astro-turf covered table for the train. Mom will generously share photos! I sometimes feel bad that I haven't shared more photos of his older brother, but he's a teenager who doesn't always want pictures taken... I'm not too proud to say, my son & daughter-in-law are instilling great values & skills in these boys...money is only one of many.

Beki - that's a great layout. I love that you documented about how he ended up owning the train. He looks a lot like you!

This is so cool. I love all of these layouts, and it's been fascinating trying to look from one to the next and figuring out which aspects of the example spoke to the next person in the chain.
